History
The Murphy Young Group was established in 1999 as an engineering consultancy providing services to commercial property developers. The group expanded to become an investor in commercial property and grew a portfolio of multi-let assets.
The Group expanded into utility management to provide a one stop utility management service to commercial property owners and developers.
The Group sold a portfolio of its commercial property investments in 2008 for £15million and continued to acquire and develop multi-let assets.
In 2009 the Group began expanding its involvement with technology businesses, developing bespoke commercial property management software, utility billing and management platforms as well as WiFi based data systems.
The Group has worked with a number of investment companies including a WiFi based tour guide system with unique contactless payment provision and a high quality food brand importing specialist products to UK and Europe.
The Utility Management business has been developed with the application of advanced technology and bespoke software systems, now providing utility management services to commercial and residential customers.
The Property business has continued to grow and develop a modern portfolio of assets including office and tradecounter space.
